7 Predictions for the Future of Yoga in Atlanta

If there's one thing we know is that change is inevitable. But hey, not all change is bad! In fact, I think a lot of changes coming to us will benefit us all; studio, teachers and students.

In this post, I have come up with seven ways in which yoga Atlanta scene will change over the next 3-5 years. Why? Because the predictions are fun, and can help prepare us for what's to come. Hopefully these ideas will generate some ideas of your own, that I would love to hear in the comments section below!

Yoga Studios more: In recent years, the number of yoga studios in Atlanta will skyrocket. Currently, many studios are growing at a very healthy rate, which is likely to lead to vigorous young yoga teacher for branching and start their own studio. Also, the big guns such as YogaWorks and CorePower have not made it out here, but I'm sure they will come as we continue to grow.

More Styles: While I think every single studio in Atlanta has its own vibration, they own their own focus and style, we still have room for the likes of Jivamukti Yoga, Baron Baptiste Power Yoga, Forrest style, Viniyoga, Moksha, and Sivananda.

Advanced Class: Almost every yoga studio here offers a basis for the middle class, but I think there is room for growth in the number of advanced classes, already present in places such as Red Hot Yoga and Breathing. We, as a yogi Atlanta, the better in our practice, and the studio begins to see how to create classes that grow with us. Chin up whom?

Boom in Personal Training: 350 yoga teacher graduates from the program each year in Atlanta, and, to make the best of their investment ~ $ 2500 without getting the studio there were 54 work-only studio in the Directory Mandy, after all, many will try to teach it private. (PS: If you need assistance in this field, I have a background in coaching small business and can give you the tools to do this!)

Services, Many of Them: Yoga studio, to retain their uniqueness, it will likely begin to offer other services such as mind-body massage, Reiki, acupuncture, Reflexology and more. Also be alert for weight loss programs, clean and stress management classes.

Journey to Our workshops: It is not surprising that many of the workshop traveled to the sunny beaches of Florida and California, and other more, um, Liberal, areas of the country. Soon, however, the national teacher will not be able to avoid the contingency of the developing South. Balance Yoga and Yoga Ember are on track to bring the national (and international!) Yogi to our beautiful city. Be on the look out for more!

New Demographics: With GroundedKids was in Atlanta, we have a new studio sweeping demographic, but also to come will be more classes for men, athletes, seniors, teens and Spanish speaking individuals.
